WantEat mobile is a smartphone application which targets final users, such as foodies and turists, who are interested in exploring the gastronomy domain in a simple and entertaining way

Starting exploration is simple: users only need to select a starting point! Of course users can take advantage of standard facilities such as search or bookmarks, but Wanteat Mobile also allows to identify objects in the gastronomy domain by simply taking a picture of their label, to geolocalize and explore their surroundings in an "augmented reality" mode, or to obtain personalized suggestions.

Taking inspiration from the visual and conceptual model of a wheel, Wanteat Mobile allows users to discover all the objects in the gastronomy domain which are related to their starting point, be it, for example, a product, a territory or a recipe.
Starting from a product, for instance, users can discover other products which are perfect to taste with or which have similar characteristics, its producers, and the restaurants which serve it.

In order to ease navigation, the objects in the wheel are grouped in broad sectors such as "territory" or "people". Once a sector is selected, its contents can be browsed by making them rotate, as in an old style telephone dialing selector. Users can thus explore of the world of gastronomy step-by-step, according to their curiosity. Users can chance their focus at any moment by dragging an object to the center of the wheel.
